Tammerneon uses LED lights instead of formerly used neon illumination in channel letters and illuminated structures. The use of LED lights as a light-source allows realizing diverse structures and solutions:
- The low voltage does not require a safety distance;
- Thin structures allow a more unrestricted design than the traditional luminaries
- The design can be realized in different colours and colour combinations.
The smooth illumination of the front sides of signs is achieved by using different colours of acrylic plastic and illuminated foils. The primary colours are opal white, blue, red, and green.
The number of LED lights, their luminosity and flare angle affect the LED signs’ brightness and the smoothness of their light. Due to the bright and wide-angled diodes used by Tammerneon, a good illumination is achieved with a small number of light sources. The use of top quality LED lights guarantees the signs’ visibility and the product's cost-effectiveness.
