Tammer Price Display Ultimo is a half matrix, 29-segment, system. This gives more realistic looking rounded numbers and a more modern overall image when compared to the traditional 7-segment electronic square numbers. It is also twice as bright as the first generation price displays, even though power consumption remains almost unchanged.
Increased brightness together with new digit design improves the 
overall readability of the signage. Sideways readability is improved and
visibilityis increased over a longer distance.
Tammer Price Display Ultimo functions in variety of operating conditionsand has a broad viewing angle with high brightness. The automatic brightness control per side guarantees that the price display will have optimalvisibility and minimal operating costs. The displays cansubsequently be altered with some optional equipment to show things other than price - for example time and temperature, date,wind speed, moisture or function as a counter.
